Brian was born and raised in Tennessee. He entered funeral service as a result of his father investing in McPeter’s Funeral Home, a family-owned firm in Corinth, MS. While in college, he worked for Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, TN. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1982, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is also a licensed funeral director in Tennessee and Louisiana. Brian joined Batesville Casket Company in 1982 as a field representative where he worked with hundreds of funeral homes. He has provided training for funeral directors and sales professional in the U.S. and Canada. He has earned many awards and recognitions for his commitment to funeral service.
He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Louisiana Funeral Directors Association were he serves on a number of committees, and the North Louisiana Funeral Directors Association. Brian also holds two special certifications: Certified Funeral Service Practitioner and Certified Preplanning Consultant.
Brian is an active member of Ducks Unlimited, Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, Louisiana Wildlife Federation and the Pineville Rotary Club. He is also a member of the First United Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, camping, boating, gun and knife collecting and riding his Harley.
Brian is married to the former Laurie Berry of Pineville and has four children, Courtney, Kalee, Hunter, and Jackson.
