Edie Elizabeth Hixson
	Edie Hixson is the Secretary/Treasurer of Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes. During high school, Edie began part-time work with Hixson Brothers, and in January of 1998, she began full-time work with the funeral home. In May of 2003, Edie became a licensed funeral director, and the fourth generation of the Hixson family to serve central Louisiana. Edie is a native of Alexandria; she attended Alexandria Country Day School, Brame Junior High School, and Alexandria Senior High. After high school graduation, Edie attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe and the University of Alabama where she studied early childhood education. Edie is also a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. In her leisure, Edie enjoys reading, socializing with friends, Pilates, walking, playing with pets, and playing with her son Benjamin. Edie also enjoys going to brunch on Sundays with her grandmother and family. Edie is the daughter of Ed and Connie Hixson, and has a son Benjamin Hixson Easley.
