Elizabeth is a former member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and a current member of CLSHRM (Central Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management).

Elizabeth was born in Shreveport and moved to Alexandria in 1976. She attended Cherokee Elementary, Brame Junior High, Alexandria Senior High School and graduated from Louisiana College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

During her years of education, Elizabeth had participated in various activities including jazz band, marching band, softball, track, and drama club. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys jogging, tennis, fishing, camping, walking her dog, Jazz, and spending time in the great outdoors.
