Heather will be attending the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in August of 2006. Upon graduation in November of 2007, she plans to return to Hixson Brothers in Alexandria and join their staff as a licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director.

| Heather is a native of Oregon, moved to Louisiana in the 80's. Having lived in Oregon, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and all over Louisiana, she found her calling and home in Alexandria, LA. She is currently serving her apprenticeship as an Embalmer/Funeral Director at Hixson Brothers in Alexandria. Heather will be attending the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in August of 2006.
