In 1966-67, James served our country in the Vietnam War in the US Infantry. After returning from Vietnam, James was a swimming and diving coach for the Alexandria Aquatic Club, and a BSA leader.
In his leisure, James enjoys photography, stamp collecting, genealogy, and woodworking.
James and his wife Mandy have two sons.
