Joanne Broughton |
| Joanne, the receptionist at Hixson Brother’s Alexandria chapel, was born in Akron, Ohio, moved to Baton Rouge, LA in 1979 and arrived in Alexandria, LA in 1989. She graduated from Central High School in Akron and attended the University of Akron. She previously worked her way up from a teller position to an Assistant Vice President for various banks in Akron, OH, Baton Rouge, LA, New Orleans, LA and in Guam. She was previously with Hixson Brothers from 1990 until 1992 when she went to Guam for three years. At that time, she worked in our accounts department. Joanne returned from Guam in 1995 and worked for a CPA firm for eight years before returning to Hixson Brothers once again. Joanne has four daughters and one son, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and resides in Boyce, LA. Her hobbies are reading, bowling, jigsaw puzzles, NASCAR and her wonderful family. |
