Joel was born at England Air Force Base in Alexandria in 1972. Joel’s family moved to DeRidder, Louisiana, where he graduated from DeRidder High School in 1990. After high school graduation, he attended Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in Houston, Texas, and he graduated in 1992. Joel and his wife Donna have been married for six years and have a one year old son.
Joel is the Second Vice President of The MacArthur Drive Lions Club (past "Tail Twister"), the National Funeral Directors Association, the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association, and the National Wild Turkey Federation. Joel is also a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
In his leisure, Joel loves to spend time with his family, taking pictures and playing practical jokes.
